A Look at Our Project
BLOCK CHAIN FOR VILLAGE SAVING & LOAN ASSOCIATION IN UGANDA
One of the most effective first steps to support people in raising themselves out of severe poverty and financial shortages are Village Saving and Loans Associations (VSLA). A VSLA is a trained group of 10-30 people from the community which meet weekly to save money together to create a savings fund. Each member of the group then has the right to take a loan from the fund, e.g. to start or grow a business. Only a small interest has to be paid and the loan money is paid back within 3 months. In addition, the group sets up an emergency fund which money can be taken from to pay for medical expenses and other emergencies
ONE DREAM CHILD SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
One dream child sponsorship program is a wonderful way to help change the life of an orphan, children in need and bring hope to his or her entire community and family. Through this project we shall provide desperately needed opportunities to children with credible potential but don’t have access to education resources.
Child sponsorship is the best way to change the community and family from poverty, because we have hope that after this child get education, he or she will be able to support relatives who did not get opportunity as well as support the community in providing improved service delivery.
Together, we can provide children with the tools they need to step confidently into the future and we shall create a lasting change in children’s lives, families and communities.
